I have a young bantam cochin who has had crop issues for several months and was away from the flock. Over the past 2 months I have been trying to reintroduce her...she has her own sectioned off part of the yard where they can see each other. I let them all forage together as well. The flock will only let her get so close without chasing her off but lately they have been tolerating her better. Needless to say, they all jumped her last night. I have 3 standard size and 1 bantam rooster (who loves her) and then there's her. I'm attaching pictures of her. She looks HORRIBLE! I can't believe they did this and were able to do this because usually she runs away and thats that.
Anyways, my mom put tea tree oil on her this morning. I was wondering what else should I do? I also know she's in pain because she randomly screams out a noise I've never heard any of them make. Right now, I'm keeping her in a cage in the house (it's where she always sleeps at night).
