Hello, I have a pair of unknown white bantams, who have been sitting down in their hut all day long for well over a month now.
Everyday I have been fishing them out so that they can eat and drink as they do not do so willingly.
Once they have been locked out, they seem ok, walking around with the other chicken, and eatign and drinking themselves.
I have noticed they don't go to the toilet when in the hut, and they relieve themselves all at once after I get them out.
But after a while they sit on the outside perch again.

There combs have a whiteish look to them, we bought some cream for their scales on the feet as they were sticking out a bit, and we thought it might be mites under the scales.
They have no mites or anything under or on the feathers, they clean themselves an awful lot when I get them out of the hut.

-If anybody has an idea what is wrong with them, please could you help! I don't want them to get any worse than they are!

They sound broody to me. I have a BO so I know broody behavior. Go to the forum on Chicken Behaviors and Egglaying for more info.
