I went out to the coop this morning and one of my bantam hens was laying up on the brood box (not unnatural) but when I approached her she used her wings to pull herself away from me - her legs were limp and she cannot walk. I didn't see any blood or cuts. Any ideas on what I can do for her?

Separate her first. Notice the position of the legs? What is it? Are her feet curled? Can she stand at all? Is it possible to post a picture of her legs? This would help greatly. It can be a sign of a vitamin defiency or a sign of Marek's disease. You can see no noticeable injury? Could be a riboflavin defiency? Please post a picture of her and maybe we can be of more help. You can bring her inside and give her vitamins with a syringe if she is not eating.if she's not eating you will have to keep her hydrated with a syringe.and feed with a syringe. place small amounts on the side of the beak carefully so you do not asperaite her while giving the water. Is she alert or lethergic. Eyes open or closed. How is her poop? More information would be helpful. Good luck and best wishes.
