I have some BLR bantam wyandotte eggs from eBay in the incubator, and I have read that bantams have an incubating time of 19 days.
Has this been everyones experience?
Should I plan on 21 days or earlier?
If earlier, should I mind the 3-final-days-no-turning-rule or is there a new one?
Thanks

I have had some hatch out a day early. Not one day nineteen though. I would say just plan on 21 days.

For the silkies, mine start pipping at day 19 and are usually born during the 20th day. I usually put them in at night for day 1, so around 4 o'clock just before day 18, I stop turning them, increase humidity and wait...

i have hatched many breeds of both banty and lf and stuck to this year with all banty other than some of my polish lf. i have never had a bantam hatch earlier than day 20 weather under a broody or with a bator and i have never had them hatch later than 5 days late due to humidity problems.

they require 21 days same as a lf egg stop turning on day 18 with humidity increase. however for my silkies, SF and showgirls they are usually like clock work day 20 and 21 or something is wrong and they need candled for internal pips.
