This is the first time I've had a Batman. 18 weeks old and not crowing yet. No eggs yet either. I'm leaning Cockerel but those legs are so small and my other leghorn hens have waddles so I'm just not sure...but I know You Knoe

I have a dumb newbie to bantams question. I know the flock she came from, there are no bantams in it...are bantams random and can be from the same flock? Will her offspring be all bantams or can there be normal sized offspring from her?

Some chickens are just born smaller even though both parents are standard.
If you breed her with standard sized chickens, her offspring would range in size from bantam to standard. If you breed her with a bantam, her offspring will be bantam.
Looks closer to 8/9 to me.Are you sure it is 18 weeks? That bird looks younger than that.
