Can anyone help me? I have a flock of 7 chickens different breeds…1 bantam, I call big job because she’s so small, Last summer when it was so hot she got spooked and ran into deep brush and I couldn’t get her, so I had to leave her.
It was so hot into triple didgets, no rain for three weeks, she was missing presumed dead for about 20 days / 3 weeks then one day I looked up and here she came marching out of the under brush, she had lost weight and she was hungry and thirsty, Except for the weight loss and messy feathers she was fine, She was weak and very stressed, she has not started laying again since the ordeal her eggs are small white eggs so she’s easy to track she’s been back about 2 months.
Can anyone tell me if she will ever lay again! Big Job is 3 years old brown spotted bantam.
Big Job is on the perch in the middle.

What is her diet? Is she a sebright?
She probably stopped laying from lack of nutrition (presuming lost or broody), took a while to get in condition, went into molt (no laying during molt) then winter break. A perfect storm of freeloading. 😂

That makes perfect sence, LoL😂

Her diet now is Purena Layer pellets, 7 grain layer scratch, and any table scraps and any vegetable peels. I think you nailed it at “perfect storm” for freeloading 😀
