I have been reading through lots of forums and the closest I could find was egg bound.
I caught her and gave her a nice long hot tub bath and then used the hair dryer to keep her warm and dry her off. Then I sat with her for about 2 hours wrapped in a towel and against me. She was coo-ing away, happy as can be.
Now, this is my silky that is the most ornery of all of my chickens. She is picked on, hard to catch, and looks like hell. She has lots of pin feathers right now, so she is like a porcupine. She has learned how to protect herself from the more aggressive girls. (my most aggressive is now in a different yard by herself, she was getting picked on by my goose, and when I gave her a couple companions she picked on them. She needs to be an only child)

so, Curly (the weird walker) would walk normal then crouch down with her butt sticking out and a flat back (not the rooster position, she looks different doing that) for a couple feet then back up to normal standing. Interestingly she crouched as soon as I was "out of sight". She was walking and passed behind a pole and could not see me, but crouched then and when she could see me again she straightened up.

She is now in a storage box with clear sides and has food and water. She laid an egg yesterday, and i assume I will get another today.
The best description I can come up with is a cat in heat...but walking forwards rather than kneading the back paws.

Any ideas? I will try to get a pic of the actual position, but she may not do it in front of me. Crafty that one.
oh, she is about 1 1/2 years old.
