You need to clip her beak...she can't normally peck at the food as other birds can.

Can you enlarge the picture? It's really hard to see. Also, for the beak try filing if you aren't comfortable with clipping (I would be scared that I would cut to far). I saw on another post that you said s/he can't stretch his/her neck out, I had a pet chicken (Walter) that was like that when I was growing up. He lived a couple of years. He wasn't able to properly preen himself and we had to make sure he was able to get food and water, but he was the best chicken I've ever had.
