bantams and big chickens?

I am planning to get a small flock of chickens and was wondering if it will be ok to have 2 or 3 bantams and a couple of standard size chickens together?

Yes, you can keep standards and Bantams in the same pen. I have all my chickens in the same pen!

Do standard roosters attempt to mate with bantam pullets? That's my only worry.... My roo has plenty of ladies his size, but I still worry about my few banties. None of the bantams are mature enough to lay, yet, and Carl doesn't bother immature pullets... but when they become ready, I'm worried about them.

Hmmm, have I said "worry" often enough?

I don't want any squished midget chickens!
