Bantams: Boys or Girls?

Speckled Sussex bantams

Hatched 4/8/24 (2 1/2 weeks)

Purple

Blue

Obviously a boy... Dominique/Speckled Sussex

And hatched on 4/11/24 (2 weeks)

Green

L.C. (Little Chick), injured and found unconscious day 2 and 3, so still behind the others developmentally

What do YOU think?

A good noticeable comb at 2-3 weeks is not very promising if you like to see a girl.

A chick that got behind develops later. Rather not compare it with its siblings of the same age, because a boy that hasn’t developed stil has female features.

Hope not, but it wouldn’t surprise me if these are all boys.

The white colouring seems to be a trigger its a male with speckled sussex.

Hope not, because all my sexed pullets looked like your boy at that age. No sign of comb development at 10 weeks.

Maybe just bantams?

An abundance of white is an indicator that it's a male.
