bantams laying habits....

I've raised bantams before but it was when I was younger and I don't remember much about there laying habits but mine seemed to do fine. Well I raised a couple young rooster this year and bought a few young hens this summer. I bought one older hen the same time as the younger, its been six weeks and she has yet to lay an egg. Time to cull her??

NO!! Give her time. She needs to be comfortable with her new surroundings and friends. How much could one little bantam eat?

It really can take some time for any hen to relax and lay. Please give her time to become comfortable laying! It can seriously take months...

I got a new bantam hen the beginning of August, she's only laid 2 eggs so far. She was also just about done molting.
Give her time! It can all be stressful for them
