Hi everyone;
I'm a new member, but have raised chickens for some fifty years. Mostly bantams as they turn me on, are great for insect control, especially grasshoppers. Presently I have no chickens, first wife left me about three years ago, so lost everything, then found my soul mate and where we live I cannot have any chickens. I work in the Phoenix area, but have my home in Luna, NM where there are no rules and especially no darn homeowner's associations so I am a free chicken farmer as soon as I retire, or maybe even prior to that time.
BB Reds are my favorite choice of birds. Have been a poultry leader for ten years in 4-H, and a poultry judge at the county fairs in the place I used to live.
Mostly I love tall tales, of which I am not bad at, pranks, and love a good joke and laugh.
