Bantams - Space per chicken?

Hello Everyone. I was wondering if anyone happened to know how much space should be alloted per chicken when building a coop for bantams?

The figures I read ( from Virgina Coop extension ) Say 1 sq-ft/bird inside, 4 sq-ft/bird in the run. I think that is a bit on the small side.

Yes, that is a bit small I would say at least 2 square inside for bantams.
