Bantams

My assorted Bantams are 6 weeks old. I have 6 in all but only 1 pullet is identified, (my Barred Rock). The rest are a toss up. At this point I believe I only have one rooster which is very obvious and he was a very early bloomer, the rest I think are pullets but with such a manly rooster it's hard to see if maybe I just have a late bloomer in the mix. Any guesses on the breeds. I've numbered them and named some.


#1 "Pumpkin"

#2 "Duckie" (gray chick)

#3 no name yet (white w/ brown) very tall legs

#4 "Dumplin" (white cream color w/gray feet) wont look at camera:/

#5 "Mr. Rooster"

Most of them look like crossbreeds. Where did you get them?

They were purchased at a local feed store. They were in a bin labeled "Assorted Bantam" and from what I've been reading I assume that would be mostly cross breeds very rarely pure.

Wow..."Mr Rooster" is a very unique looking chicken. Looks very old for his age!

Mr. Rooster was manly from day 1 ! Here he was at just 4.5 weeks
