I have Banties and one of them White Crested Black Polish has been acting a little slow for a couple days. I've noticed her tail is down and not perky like her sisters. Any ideas? She wasn't very interested in eating this morning either. She acted like she didn't want to be bothered. I have NO clue what this could mean. HELP!

Could she be egg bound?

IDK what does that mean? She has been laying eggs but I'm not sure if she has the last couple days. Maybe she hasn't.

Egg binding is when an egg gets stuck in transit and cannot be passed. The bird will stand with its tail pointed downward, walk like a penguin and be generally miserable until the egg passes.

A warm bath is helpful in moving an egg along. Lubing up the interior of the vent can also be helpful.

K thank you. I was just reading about it and I think you may be right. Sounds like her. I'm going to check her right now. Thank you!
