Banty's

I have 3 month olds (ie 12 weeks) who are still smaller than their mature counterparts. By laying age they're pretty close to adult size but still will be a little smaller. By a year they should be pretty much fully size but they don't stop really growing for like 1.5 years right?

Banties are small, that is what banties are. They grow up until about 6 months old but will continue to fill out for a year. Nothing prettier than a cochin banty starting it's second year.

Thank you Frizzled Hen! lol...I have 4 banty Cochins, one 5 months old, but 1/2 the size of the big girls. Although they are a year and 1/2 old...she has a bigger attitude.

Good luck with your other banties, they will grow. This bunch of Cochins looks like bedroom slippers and at the same time sound like a grown up hen!

I'm amazed just looking at pics of the little gals I got from Frizzledhen, compared now to just a couple of months ago.... they're still as small, but so round and full now

I can't wait to see them when they are done growing
