Barber pole worms! Worming help!

So, my goats recently have came down with a case of the dreadful Barber Pole worms. My chickens occasionally hang out in the goat stalls...

My whole flock was wormed with SafeGaurd orally for 3 days in a row way back in April. Everyone has been doing great. Vet recommended worming everyone again (goats, sheep, poultry, etc.) and reworming every single month after.

Yeh or neh? I can understand the sheep and goats being wormed frequently but should I worm the chickens every single month? Seems a bit extreme and possibly harmful? I trust my vet fully but wanted a second opinion. Maybe I could skip a month or two and do a fecal float to ensure everyone was doing okay worm load wise? Just looking for some opinions and possibly other options.

Current flock consists of:
6 Orpingtons
5 Runner ducks
4 Silkies
3 Guinea Fowl
4 Turkey poults
4 Broilers (soon to be in the freezer)

I would not worm the chickens every month.
I would get a fecal done every other month though.

Thanks for the reply! Guineas and Broilers are in separate chicken tractors up on a hill where the chickens rarely go. Should I worm them or not? What would be the wait period for the Broilers since I was planning on butchering this weekend? One of my Orpington hens is laying as well. What is the withdraw period for SafeGuard and eggs?

If you wormed back in April, I would not worm again until your took some poop in to get tested.
Since you have your chickens set up in different areas I would also collect poop from each area separately and keep the sample separate and labeled when you take them in to be tested so you know who has what is any have them at all.
Usually its a 10 to 14 day wait after you worm them.
