Bare Belly on Hen

How long ago did you lose your rooster? If she mated with him within the past couple of weeks, she may still be laying fertile eggs.

It was over a month ago and I out eggs in the incubator when we lost him. I have 7 chicks in the brooder now from that hatch. I knew I had a window of time to act. That is why I said it figures. Lol

My hen is still acting odd. She has no visible signs of being sick. The only odd thing she is doing is staying separated from the other girls when they are out free ranging. I have checked for bugs, checked all poop for worms, her hind end looks good, etc. I really not sure what else to do other than to continue to watch her. She still roosts with the others in the evening. Any suggestions?
