Hi guys,
Newbie post here :)
Sadly our little flock has got Scaly Leg Mites and while we're sorted with treatments and disinfecting their coop and perches, there seems to be little advice for what to treat their actual enclosure with. Most disinfectants appear to be designed for concrete enclosures, not bare earth - Any suggestions please? Our girls have around 20m square of enclosure so needs to be something that can cover this size area.

Thank you muchly in advance :)

I might dust the run with a poultry dust. I personally haven't experienced scaly leg mites, so I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else can help.

Per the Permethrin SFR product label: "When treating poultry houses for bedbugs or chicken mites, apply as a spray 4 fl oz to 10 gallons of water. ... When treating poultry directly: Use 1-4 fl oz in 3 3/4 gallons water, which should treat roughly 375 birds.
