Bare spot on chickens

Is my rooster doing this to my girls?

Probably from over mating. It can get worse to a bare back. Sometimes hens will peck feathers. Hen saddles can be handy if this happens. I used a few the first year from overmating, but didn’t have to use them again after the first big molt when they regrew feathers.
