Bargain specials from Cackle...

I'm thinking of getting the Waterfowl special...Has anyone gotten this before? The package comes with 6 ducklings and 4 goslings for 39.95(10 birds), but do I have to purchase 15 chicks also to have them deliver to me? It says "No minimum on turkeys, ducks, or geese if shipped with other birds to make the 15 total minimum chicks ordered." Sorry if this is dumb, but does that mean I have to get 15 other chicks, or only 5?

Also, would it be a better deal to choose which breeds I get? At this point I'm not particular, just looking for some waterfowl to inhabit our large pond. I have little experience with certain breeds, so I'm open to what I get. I'm just worried that they'll just throw in a ton of the same breed and I'll end up not liking it. Does anyone have experience with the bargain "hatchery choice" specials in general? Were you happy with what they gave you or was it a ripoff?

I am reading it like you need to have 15 total. So just order 5 chicks. You stand a better chance of getting your fowl quickly if you do an assorted special at this point. Call and ask. You will have to keep hitting redial, but you will get through!

I ordered the waterfowl special last year, I ended up with 4 Chinese goslings and 6 Rouen ducklings. They are great ducks, but the Chinese geese were a tad bit too load for me so I had to regime them. I do not know if you have to order extra chicks as I ordered some cuz I was gonna do that anyways.
