Barnevelder Roo?

Hey guys, just wanted to confirm this. I have a barnie that I’ve suspected is a roo since young age. He’s 9 weeks old today. I’m thinking I see roo feathers in neck, but don’t notice any saddle feathers yet. Very big red comb and waddles

Definitely a male. I have two barnevelder hens and there’s a big comparison. (With gender not breed)

I have a large hen with bigger comb and waddles that I thought would be a roo. Her comb wasn't as red but tail was large. 8 weeks she's 3rd

It's not just comb/waddles on OPs bird. OPs bird has male coloring, very splotchy.

Oh yeah he was definitely a roo. Unfortunately rehomed him recently, broke my heart, but ended up with more Roos than I needed

Not sure which one you’re talking about in the second picture. The first picture is to dark and blurry and in the second picture the left one is male and the right one is female.

Roos have a way of making their way into our little hearts. Still heartbroken over the Ameraucana boys I had to give up months ago. It will get easier with time
