Barred owls

I recently lost a bird to an owl during a remodel of my coop. Egg production dropped for a few days with the exception of my prairie blue who is still out of sorts. How long do laying cycles stop after a predator attack?

I would say a couple of weeks. They were probably stressed and overwhelmed

It could take awhile. There is no set time frame, some birds take longer than others. I have had issues with owls in the past. Good luck...

I've had some bounce right back. Others near a month. They'll come around though......
