I posted a while ago but my chicks are now 18 weeks old. I'm fairly certain Large Marge (my EE) and Wee-bey (Golden Buff) are ladies but I'm still on the fence about Omar (Barred Plymouth Rock) and Hot Wings (RIR). If it helps, no one is crowing.

Hot Wings and Omar deciding whether to peck at my wedding ring.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I'm 90% sure your barred rock is a hen because when my rooster was that hold it had a lot bigger comb and all that and he still ain't a year old and he's this big haha I thinks he's about 10 months old

They're all female. From the looks of things, they should be laying, if not now, then withing the next few weeks. Pretty flock!

My husband has been begging me to stop obsessing about it but I'm so happy for someone else to say that. We're in a residential neighborhood and we cannot have a rooster. I've grown super fond of them all. No one has laid yet but I'm anxiously waiting.

Girls! Look for the squat. When I paid attention, my EE laid exactly a week after she squatted and my cochin laid 8 days after squatting.
