Yesterday we had some really strong winds and they moved my entire run over about 8 inches so there was a gap of about 7 inches between the frame and the ground. I went outside at about 11 p.m. to see how everyone was and my (bantam)Barred rock hen- Gwen was gone. I searched for her all over in my backyard no sign or anything. Today still no signs. To my knowledge the only predators around here are opposums(sp?), raccoons, skunks( i dought a skunk did it because their perfume usually lingers but don't know due to wind), cats, and avian predators. What do think is most likely?
Thanks, AJ

Hopefully, the wind just scared her and she found shelter and is hiding right now. Maybe she will reappear when she feels safe. Hopefully.

I doubt predators would be out hunting in a wind storm like that.

Good luck finding her. Once I had my whole coop almost tip over but luckily the tarp gave first and the coop got wedged up against the fence.
