My barred rock hen has been looking like she's moulting for a bit, but has been particularly raggedy and has had a little bit of watery poop. This morning she looked wobbly on her feet (tried to capture on video but can't upload?). Otherwise she seems vigorous. She might have been my barred rock who got out and spent a cold night in a tree about a month ago, but im not sure of that. She looks like she loses her balance but has been eating and drinking fine. What might be going on?? Extreme moulting?? Something else?

Can you get someone to hold her and take a look at the bottom of her feet?
Be gentle, I see a lot of pin feathers coming in, so she's in molt.

oooh do you think she has bumblefoot? i tried picking her up and examining the bumps, but I didn't see anything. could it be on the top of her foot? her feet may have also been muddy and I missed it somehow?

I don't know! Do you have someone that can help you with her? Hold her and look at the bottom of her feet, see if she's got mud plugs stuck in her feet. Could be Bumblefoot.
Keep me posted.

A quick update! You were absolutely right! She was a little woozy from her moulting - she seems totally fine now that more feathers are in, her poops are more normal, and she is walking better. she also did have a little bit of mud stuck in her feet! I am still a little paranoid about bumblefoot, but I've looked quite closely and can't seem to see the dot anywhere!

I'm glad she's doing better.
I would re-examine the feet every once in a while to see if there's more debris stuck in the feet and keep them cleaned out.
