Barred Rock -- Male or Female

Any idea whether the barred rock in these photos is a male or female? S/he's about 7 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no pro in barred rocks. But that's lighter barred than my hens were at that age, even the legs are lighter than theirs were. Wait for someone who's been doing em awhile longer though.
