barred, rock, cukkoo, maran

leg color, egg color.

BR=yellow legs, tan eggs
Marans, white legs, brown eggs.

I just recently read about the cuckoo maran comparing the barring
to the barred rock. The piece I read said the cuckoo is more irregular hence...cuckoo

i have read the PATTERN of the feather if slightly different..
BR .. a strong BARRED pattern on the feather..
CM.. an irregular more zigzag pattern to the feather

personality ... i have always liked BR.. these are the first marans i have owned, and i love LOVE them!!! would rather have CM over BR... doesnt matter what color the eggs are
