Barred Rock Roos unfreindly/mean?

I would give him a chance and maybe increase the roo to hen ratio, it makes sense to me. But, if he still acts up, put him in the pot and get another roo.

I have raised Barred Rock roos that were gentle and I've had some that would hit you as soon as you turn around. The worst three were a father and two sons. I really think that trio had the mean gene.

Same thing with the RIR's. I just lucked out and have one that just turned 1 year old, and is the most friendly and gentle that I have ever had. You just never know.
