Barred Rock Rooster and BCM hen

I hatched a few chicks this past weekend. Sorry but I do not have pics just yet. My question is: the chick that is from my Barred Rock Rooster and my BCM hen is mostly black with some white on chest and around beak. It also has a white spot on its head - is it a male because of the white spot? Or does that not apply since the cross is BR Rooster over a BCM hen?? Thanks for the help!

Does not apply. The hen would have to be the barred one for you to get a sex link.
