what are judges looking for in a barred rock chicken? does it matter the size of the comb?

I dont have any direct pictures of heads on a barred rock at this time, but I will show you some heads of my white rocks. The male with his head downdard was a young male, but a nice comb. The White Rock Bantam male has a nice comb in the bantam coop he is a breeder male and show bird . I have another thread of a fellow in North Carolian who has some nice barred rock large fowl and maybe when you see his pictures that will help you.There is some pictures posted on this tread that show the old fasion Heritage Barred Plymouth Rock from many years ago. They have the kind of head that you can try to compair with yours befor you show. Also I found a male I raised about six years ago with a good comb. He was champion of the show at that time he is on the bottome picture. Bob

He has some of the best White Rocks you can find, all so has a very nice bantam Rhode Island Red Line that he shrunk down from the Mohawk line he had...
