I have a barred rock pullet, about 20 weeks, who just made it on top of the 7 foot fence surrounding the run this morning. Should that even be possible? I made the fence this high so this would not happen. I don't really want to deal with wing clipping but am not opposed it it. Would stringing lines across the top of the run, say every 1 foot or so in a grid discourage flight, or just be a dangerous obstacle for the birds. What about the bird spikes you see on gutters and roof peaks?
