We have 2 BR chicks that are almost 6 weeks old. Sexed as female. Purchased from the same breeder as a year ago. Today I noticed one chick has more white barring than the other chick, so I am wondering if the difference could mean I have a male, or just a BR with poor feather pattern. FWIW, both have combs/wattles that look similar in size and color. For comparison, the last pic is of a 1 year old BR from the same breeder.

They look like pullets, but give them a few more weeks to be sure.
