We picked up 4 girls and were told when we bought them that there was one RR (Which is actually a Catalana.) 2 Barred Rocks and one Ameraucana.

The Barred Rocks have Greyish feet/legs. All the pictures I see they are suppose to have yellow.

The Ameraucana has short cheek tuffs, and slate colored legs but I don't see any pictures of Ameraucanas that look like mine.

It won't let me post the pictures because I am new to the forum.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

You should be able to post pics.

As for the Ameraucana, it doesn't look like others because it isn't. It is likely an Easter Egger. But, pics or color description help.

Your presumed Catalana is infact not one though, as they're too rare. It is most likely a New Hampshire.

Barred Rocks are indeed supposed to have yellow legs, but hatchery quality ones have a lot of grey on them. Check the soles. Are they yellow?

I'm not sure what the post count has to be, but do some posting and then come back and give us pics. I'm always intrigued by descriptions but personally do much better with a visual!

You can still actually just post a link to your photos. Especially if you have another place, like Photobucket, you can post a link to them.

The Ameraucana is a mutt, hardly even an Easter Egger, as she has a single comb (lays brown eggs)

The Barred Rocks are indeed so.

The "Catalana" is a mutt too. Catalanas have white earlobes.

Thanks
Yes the "Ameraucan" lays brown eggs. (5 a week)
The "Catalana" lays very light (almost white) eggs (5 a week).

Were you being intentionally rude or is that just how it came across? (I like to give people the benefit of the doubt.)

Sorry if I sounded rude, but no, I never meant to be.

If you're referring to the Easter Egger comment, I was merely saying that it looks like one, but it has a single comb thus it lays brown eggs and even its body doesn't fit an EE.

If you're referring to the Catalana subject, I was just pointing out the difference. Catalanas have white earlobes, but yours has red earlobes, so it's likely a mutt or a breed I cannot currently name.
