Barred Rocks with Green and Yellow Poop

Hi Guys,

I bought couple of chickens last night, two of them are BRs and 9-10 months old as they told me.

But it seems to me that they might be sick, but how bad it could be? or it might affect others, just need some help.

Bit heart broken since I drove to their farm for 1.5 hrs one way drive, and I ask them that they look sick since poop is sticking behind them, but people on farm said, they are fine

1) Sharing few pics I took this morning, please help me, I'm bit concerned...
2) Now that I think, are they also around 9-10 months old, or way older than that?

I'm curious about the hen in the 3rd picture on the right. Her eye looks swollen in that pic. Is it just me, or is it swollen?

They do look swollen to me. Do you have an existing flock now? If so I'd make sure I had them all quarantined from the others. I'm sure someone will chime in here with what the problem may be soon! Wish I could help more.

Edited to add: They do look about that correct age to me. I have three barred rocks but younger. You have very pretty chickens! Hopefully nothing is seriously wrong but if so I'd sure be letting the ones you bought them from know this. For your protection of the flock as well as theirs.

It is hard to tell from that image. You might need to inspect the eyes again and take a close up shot. It could had been just sun glaring in her eyes.

That picture is a little fuzzy so I can't tell much from that one. As far as the rear end, sometimes my girls get a little messy and I have to give them a bath. Some people trim a little bit of the fluff around the vent to keep it from getting dirty. I'll put the poo chart link in here for you to look at. It gives you pictures of normal and abnormal poo's.
If that eye is indeed swollen, I'd look and see if there is any drainage coming from it, or from her nostrils. If you have an existing flock of chickens, I'd quarantine the new ones for at least 30 days to make sure they are healthy before letting them anywhere near your other chickens. While they're quarantined, you can check for illnesses, mites, lice, things like that to get a handle on them first. If they do have any type of respiratory illness I would never let them around an existing flock.

First of all thank you, here are clear pictures, I asked the people at the farm to return them if they are sick! but its way long drive

I also saw that both doing sometimes inhale with voice, like they have runny nose or something...

The 2nd one does look a little swollen to me..or just "off" or something. Have you noticed any discharge from nostrils or eyes? Any sneezing, wheezing or anything? It looks a little "cruddy" or something in the corner of her eye. Maybe it's just dirt, I don't know. Do you have any other chickens? Please quarantine these two if you do. Even if it ends up that they're not sick, you still need to do that to be on the safe side.

Ew. Sorry, but those look like really sick birds. I'd suggest keeping them quarantined for at least a month. (If you decide to keep them.). To be honest, my suggestion is to take them back and wash your hands of them, so to speak. Yes, it's an hour and a half drive back, but that's way less expensive then trying to heal them, AND all your other chickens when those new birds get them sick. Believe me, I've been there and done that and I'll never again get birds that are older than 3 days.

Thanks guys for the help, I did returned them yesterday...

They put them separately for a watch.
