Barred rooster over RIR question

A friend of mine wants to put a barred rock rooster over RIR for sex linked chickens....I don't think they will be sex linked but all barred. Can anyone tell me?

For the Sexlinks you would need to cross the RIR Roo with Barred Rock hens.

I just hatched some a week ago. They are RIR hen x Barred Rock roo. I'll get some pics to post so you can see how they look.

I agree with the other posters. It should be RIR roo over Barred Rock hen to be sex linked. But I just wanted to post pics so you could see what you get from the Rock roo and Red hen.

Delaware's in the backround, Red/Rocks are the black ones in this pic

Many have hatched chicks from my BR rooster over several different breeds. Makes a fine bird, just not a sexlinked one.
