Barres Rock and guinea fowl?

Hello, I have a 5 y/o male guinea fowl and will be getting 6 Barred Rock hens in a couple weeks. I've read very good things about the hens but the con seems to be they stick up for themselves. My Hewey is a tough bird but I'm wondering how you think they'll get along?

Guinea fowl are very aggressive, I tried to put my pair in w/ my chickens and they fought a lot. They are RUTHLESS! He even tried to attack my pea fowl. If they were raised together they would be fine, I have a year old Guinea cock that I hatched out of an egg. I raised him W/ baby chicks and then the rest of the chickens got along w/ him. I would suggest that you put them in pens side-by-side to see if the will be aggressive to them on the fence, if they dont run against the fence to get to the other put them together and monitor CAREFULLY.
