Barter chickens?

Went to the pet supplies shop and turns out they sell chickens. When I asked what breed they were they said barter chickens. I've never heard of that breed. Is there any such breed and what are they like? Thanks

Did a google search and came up with Barter Brown Chicken. An Australian breed. Hope this helps.

Sounds like they're a specific hatchery's strain of red sex links, should be friendly and lay a ton of brown eggs!
