I came home from work today to my basement flooded, which is where my 2 brooder a for my chicks are. Luckily my brother had his friends over and they were all able to move the chicks to the other side of the basement. I have been using two 55 gallon storage containers for them but I can't keep them in the basement anymore now. In one of the bins, I have a few that are 6 weeks old and in the other I have a few that range from 2-5 weeks. I plan on moving the 2-5 week old bin to the garage but my big question is, are the chickens that are 6 weeks old enough to go outside? I love in Michigan, and anyone else who lives here knows how....iffy...the weather can be. All of the 6 week old chicks are fully featherd and have some outside time on warm days. I am just a little worried because the weather has been around 20 at night and in the 40s-50s during the day.
I have other chickens in the coop along with 3 heat lamps and a hen house. I checked the weather and it said 46ish should be the lowest this week but I'm just not sure it'll be warm enough for them. :( ugh I need help

You could try putting them out. I put out my 5 1/2 week old chicks when it was 40-50 in the day and 20-35 at night and they did fine (and mine have no heat lamps or older hens with them). So I think thet theyshould do fine.
