So I don't know where to post this but I will be showing chickens for the first time so today I'm bathing them. I was told to use horse shampoo and conditioner, can I use this is it safe?

That soap should be fine. I use dog shampoo for mine since we already buy it. What color are you showing? White birds sometimes benefit from a purple shampoo (done CAREFULLY) to help dilute stains.

ETA: Use caution if you choose a stronger detergent soap. You want the feathers clean, but not dried out and dull.

Use the horse shampoo.
Do not use Dawn dish soap, we have used it in the past but it dries out the feathers.
The reason it has ducklings on the bottle is because they use it to wash ducklings that were in oil spills. Obviously no grease is much better than an oil spill, but it is not ideal.

The fact it's made specifically for horses it won't hurt them. Sorry I'm new to this so I wanna be safe
