Bathing chicks?

I have a silkie chick that is just over a month old and she has a little poopy odor to her. The brooder is clean but she makes very stinky poops and therefore she smells a bit. Can I give her a bath with mild shampoo and blowdry her afterwards? I would like to freshen her up a bit as she likes to spend time cuddling with me. What do you think?

You can, but you really have to watch at that age and make sure they don't get a chill.

Have you tried allowing her a dustbath, maybe with some DE added in?

It could be something that you feed them that makes the poop smell so bad. I know if I give mine bean sprouts or tofu, the next day OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the smell
