Howdy all!

I just hatched 5 Cayuga ducklings with an incubator. My girlfriend loves to let them splash around in a water filled storage container. They are the cutest little things. I was just curious if it was a bad idea to put them on the food prep counter next to the pantry shelves?. They do a lot of pooping in the water and tend to splash it all over the place. Maybe outside would be more sanitary?

Your definitely not going to want duck feces anywhere where you might prepare your food.

i put 1 or 2 tiny ducklings in my kitchen sink, but 5 of them over a week old will be a handfull

You can disenfect to perfection but every spring someone posts on here how their duckling fell off the counter and has a head injury. You know how hyper they get around water
