i am planning on starting to build my first incubator in the next week or so (i hope i can find ome eggs in ontario soon no luck yet darn) and would love some pics etc. of your homemade bators
i can build and design anything but work well with visual stimulation (i am a bit too ADD to ever really make a proper design of what i end up with which often varies greatly from my original drawing)
thanks i know i will have lots of smaller tech Q's to come so any further detailed info would be great!
thanks alot

Jesse, To make a home made bator, all you need is a box, a heat source and a way to regulate the heat. The easiest way to regulate the heat is to buy a solid state hot water heater regulator for your local hardware store. ( $12) Hook this to an old heating element from an oven. ( These usually run on 220 volts but hooked to 110, they heat alot less.) Put this in a box with your eggs and you should have chicks hatching in 21 days. You will need to adjust the heat before setting the eggs though. Keep the temp @99.5 degrees with 65% humidity and you will have chicks.
