I ordered 3 female BBS cochins from Meyer. They are now 16 weeks old. I noticed early on that 2 of the 3 had much larger combs, but when I reached out to Meyer they said it was too early to tell. Based on these pics, does the one facing away appear to have other roo features, besides the giant red comb? I'm not seeing saddle feathers but I understand these cochins take a while to mature. I hope they are ladies, but doubtful. The last pic is of the other possible boy--pic taken in May--the one behind is the lady.
Thanks!

Pullets. At this age, they SHOULD have the long, pointed saddle feathers as well as male specific feathering and much larger combs. She is just a pullet who is closer to laying eggs than the others.
I sure hope you are right! The third pullet has such a smaller comb, maybe she's the one that's not quite up to snuff with that comb.
