BCM hen or roo??

I got a batch of Marans and LO for "Camp Kenmore". They were all various ages and have been processed or sold as they age up.

There was one REALLY ugly duckling in the mix and as I looked at it today and compared it to my other roosters and some of the younger Marans....I'm starting to think a hen got put in the mix of boys.

My guess is its about 3 months old:

For comparison this is my 4-5 month old BCM he has a monster comb but doesn't crow yet....YAY:

YAY!!! Thanks for confirming! Time for me to run outside and put her in the pullet pen. Can't have a little jewel like her in freezer camp. LOL This breeder is really hard to get hens from but I talked him into one hen because of our rooster deal. I dont' plan on telling him that he sexed one wrong.

Now to get help catching the 4-5 week old Marans and taking pictures....those little buggers are FAST.

Wooo she is MAD....in the new coop fussing up a storm. She did NOT like being moved. LOL
