No there not. There full grown Ameraucana and the farmer said they were laying. I've had them a week now.

You might need to be patient with your new hens. Moving to a new home may have made them upset. Give them another week or two. Visit often with a treat to help them get used to you. As for problems with your neighbors maybe if you take some eggs to them later and explain that the noise upsets your hens they may be more careful.
