Bead-board for a roof, would it work? Opinions please!!!!

Thanks guys for the responses. I have decided to go with new exterior grade plywood. I will find some good use for the beadboard I currently have.

If you really want the look, you can use a router on your plywood to cut lines that replicate bead board.....

Regular plywood, then 15lb felt paper, then 15-20 year asphalt shingles. Trim the edge shingles before you nail them.

Cry once, buy once. Plus it is good practice for you.
