I would not do this with animals that are not mine. Perhaps just inform the owner when they get back from their vacation and let them decide and take care of the issue.
As long as she gets additional attention, i.e. feeding her some scrambled eggs and serving her normal chick feed and water in deep dishes etc., she should be fine until her owners come back home.
