Bear Control

I don't like the sprays as they can't be controled remembering to check wind direction in an emergency situation and can back fire on to you and your own dogs.

perimeter and cross fencing around the actual homestead and barn areas. waste/feed management so your not attracting them. Saw the other day they have blast cap trip wires so when you know where the bears are entering your property you can put one or two out that would scare them enough not to come back.

taser: animals hate/fear electric sounds even at a good distance they know to avoid it.

Dogs that will bark, Had A pack of city gsd's for many years. Have LGDs and current farm dogs is presa canario. Did love my cane corso for a good farm dog. the presa's actually have a natural instinct for herding so I will continue with the breed in the future.

we have a long standing wildlife trail next to our homestead through our second pasture black bears/big cats they come and go every year never bothering us we just too much trouble that they go to easier places.

when a younger bear took a wrong short cut climbing our 6ft fencing. pay attention the dwarf momma goat she gonna get that bear too lol was more concern of where the momma bear was then worried about the baby bear.

and my Clydesdales ran the bear out the rest of the pasture.

The wild life really doesn't want to bother us, they will pick an easy target when they looking for food.
