Including pics of 4 silkies all hatched from August 17-24th in 2025, all from same breeder who claimed she only bred bearded. 2 seem to have buzzed cut beards as their skin isn't visible but the feathers aren't long enough for me to say, " yeah they're all bearded" and then 2 that had overly fluffy muffs even as hatchlings. are all these still bearded or are the 2 shaved looking silkies considered non bearded despite not seeing the skin around the face?

Also if someone can say what color they look to be closest to. One i believe to be paint cause she had black sprigs on shoulder and tail as a baby while all the splashes were just white, also her color continues down the feather shaft but she did develope more black plus orange spots as she grew in her first few weeks. And I know the darkest is birchin, I named him quil as he reminds me of a porcupine plus thats my fav authors name. the other 2 I don't know, but opinions wanted as I'm thinking hen looks mauve and hoping maybe porcelain or red pyle for the lil roo. From mixed color flock and loving it

Pet quality silkies, which looks like they may not be purebred, bearded or pure color type.(i would not buy from the breeder again) The last one and the only pullet is the best, she does look to be mauve or something that looks like it.
The boys are splash, with leakage and birches with leakage.
